“Metabolomics is a key scientific discipline to study metabolism and its interaction with the environment in any biological system. GC(xGC)-MS is a core analytical platform applied in metabolomics and which is highly complementary to other analytical platforms including LC-MS and NMR spectroscopy. GC(xGC)-MS provides the opportunity to study central metabolism at high resolution which is not feasible with other analytical platforms. In our laboratory we have applied LECO GC(xGC)-MS platforms for more than 20 years to study a wide range of mammalian, plant and microbial sample types.
We choose LECO platforms because they are robust, operate 24/7 with minimal breakdowns, have an ion source which does not require cleaning and  therefore no sensitivity loss over time and provide easy-to-use software packages for raw data processing and data analysis. We hope to use LECO platforms for the next twenty years.»

“We have used LECO’s GC-TOF MS technology for the past 25 years, first with four instruments of the floor-standing Pegasus series, and now with BT and BTX benchtop instruments. My laboratory relies on the TOF’s impeccable robustness, speed, sensitivity and superb software every day.
